WORKFORCE PROGRAM
BUILD MORE THAN A JOB. BUILD A LIFE
The Workforce Development Program was developed in conjunction with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) and our parent company, the de Moya Group, to assist individuals in their pursuit of highway construction careers.
Our Workforce Development Program places emphasis on Equal Opportunity Employment. Candidates are identified first through public outreach and referrals via our partnership agencies, supplemented by additional efforts that include a capstone recruitment event which enables applicants to interview with our staff to determine candidates’ specific interests, availability and future career plans.
Candidates selected for full-time positions also benefit from our week-long training course to gain a better understanding of the general scope of the different types of work involved in each project, typical construction materials, safe work practices, the physical challenges of highway construction work and local project sites.
As an added perk, individuals who gain full-time employment through the program may also benefit from our portfolio of follow-up services, including transportation to job sites, childcare, medical aid, and financial support for job-related necessities such as boots, tools, and clothing.

CONSTRUCTION LABORER TRAINING
Construction laborers consist of all varieties of skilled craftsmen who perform asphalt/paving projects and any combination of job-site duties, among other tasks as workflow dictates.
