This project provides for the implementation of express lanes along this segment of the HEFT, as well as for the Miami-Dade Expressway Authority (MDX) to incorporate a major extension of the Gratigny Expressway through the heart of the HEFT/US-27 interchange. Major scopes of work include roadway widening and construction, drainage, MOT, bridge construction, utility and rail (FEC) coordination, architecture and site civil works, ITS, Signal, Lighting, and tolling.
